About
A connection made of experience, creativity and purpose
EspetroLink was born from the experience and initiative of a father who wrote a book about autism and decided to create a structure capable of welcoming different projects in this field.
The name joins two words that explain everything: espetro (spectrum), the world where this story began, and link, the connection we want to build — between what is lived at home and what can be shared with the world: books, creative objects, projects and resources connected to autism, always with respect, rigour and inclusive language.
The perspective we share is personal — that of a father and his family — and does not aim to represent all autistic people. We want this space to also welcome autistic readers and contributors, adults with different ways of communicating: your voices help us do better.

The founder
Carlos Mouta
Father, author and founder of EspetroLink. His deep personal experience with autism led him to study, observe and understand the day-to-day of the spectrum in family life — and to create this project to share what he learned along the way.

Without academic training in the field, he built his knowledge through direct experience, observation and contact with professionals and other parents. In 2026, he publishes his first book, O Link para o Diagnóstico, in which he shares, in a raw and honest way, the journey of a present father — from his son’s diagnosis to the transformations that followed.
Beyond the pages, he explores 3D printing as a creative tool to give shape to new EspetroLink ideas.
